While auditing nonprofit Google Ads accounts, I discovered something troubling: nonprofits are unknowingly bidding against each other on Google, driving up costs and wasting donor dollars.
So I built The Fair Search Coalition—a cooperative where nonprofits agree not to bid on each other's branded keywords. It's simple: you sign up, upload a shared negative keyword list monthly, and everyone's protected.
We're currently building the founding member list.
Most writers and content strategists didn't start creating content because they love spreadsheets.

In 2023, I created BeatsAnalytics to help nonprofits move beyond vanity metrics and measure what actually matters: bottom-line revenue and incremental impact of fundraising and marketing.
In 2025, DonorVoice acquired BeatsAnalytics, incorporating the framework into their business model. The methodology now powers insights for large and mid-size nonprofits alike.
I'm proud that what started as a new way to look at data is now the standard for forward-thinking fundraising teams.
